Pig Beach Gowanus
About
A summer popup on the Gowanus transformed into a permanent BBQ restaurant and beer garden — built in two phases against a tight opening schedule.
Located on a busy stretch of the Gowanus in Brooklyn, Pig Beach engaged Atlas Supreme on a two-phase project: building out the outdoor beer garden, then converting an adjacent vacant warehouse into a full operational restaurant space. Working within a demanding timeline and the client's budget, Atlas modified the mechanical plans and self-performed several trades to hit the opening targets.
Atlas served as general contractor and self-performed steel fabrication to keep schedule and cost under control. Scope included structural demolition, fabrication of steel windows and doors, interior carpentry, and construction of banquettes and outdoor furnishings milled onsite — delivering both the beer garden and the indoor dining room as one cohesive space.
