Sweetgreen Nomad
About
A bright, open Sweetgreen at Park Avenue and 23rd Street, built around the brand's Infinite Kitchen.
Sweetgreen's Park Avenue location brings the brand's fresh, seasonal menu to one of Manhattan's busiest corners. The restaurant runs on Sweetgreen's Infinite Kitchen, an automated system that builds each bowl to order behind the counter.
Tall storefront windows fill the space with daylight and frame a long oak banquette with olive cushions. The building's raw concrete columns stand out against white walls, warm oak ceilings, and terrazzo floors. Fluted white counters hold the ordering kiosks, while oak pickup and delivery shelving, a hand-lettered sourcing board, and large farm photographs tie the room back to the brand's focus on where its food comes from.
Atlas served as general contractor for the full interior build-out, working alongside O'Neill Langan Architects, TJ Hale on architectural millwork and commercial interiors, and Meyers+ Engineers on MEP.
